Free Plan
The Free plan is designed for individual developers who want to design and share database schemas. You get unlimited diagrams, all four SQL dialects (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, SQLite), and full export capabilities. Share your diagrams publicly with anyone via share links, and invite up to 4 collaborators per project.
Pro Plan -- $8/month
The Pro plan unlocks advanced features for professional use. In addition to everything in Free, you get:
- Password-protected share links -- restrict access to people who know the password
- Private diagrams -- hide your diagrams from everyone except invited collaborators
- Unlimited collaborators -- no cap on how many people can collaborate on a single project
- Version history (90 days) -- browse and restore previous versions of your diagrams
- SQL import -- paste existing SQL DDL and convert it to a visual ERD diagram
Team Plan -- $12/seat/month
The Team plan adds workspaces for team collaboration. In addition to everything in Pro, you get:
- Workspaces -- organize projects and members in a shared workspace
- Role-based access control -- assign Owner, Admin, or Member roles to workspace members
- Seat-based billing -- pay only for the seats you need, add or remove as your team changes
- Centralized management -- manage all team members and projects from one place
TIP
All plans include unlimited diagrams. The core diagramming experience -- DSL editor, ERD canvas, SQL export, and image export -- is fully available on the Free plan.
How to Upgrade to Pro
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the header
- Select Upgrade to Pro
- Complete payment via Lemon Squeezy (our payment processor)
- Pro features activate immediately after payment
- Payment methods: credit card, debit card, and PayPal
- Billing cycle: monthly, charged on the same date each month
- No long-term contracts -- cancel anytime
How to Upgrade to Team (Workspace)
- Create a workspace (or open an existing one)
- Go to Workspace Settings -> Billing
- Purchase the number of seats your team needs ($12/seat/month)
- Complete payment through the checkout flow
- Team features activate for the entire workspace immediately
- Each workspace has its own billing -- you can have multiple workspaces with separate subscriptions
- The workspace Owner manages billing and seat allocation
- You can add or remove seats at any time from Workspace Settings
Managing Your Subscription
You can manage your subscription at any time:
- View your current plan in Account Settings (click your avatar -> Account Settings)
- Access the billing portal via Lemon Squeezy for:
- Updating your payment method (credit card, debit card, or PayPal)
- Viewing invoices and receipts
- Changing billing details (name, address, VAT number)
- Downloading past invoices as PDF
To open the billing portal:
- Click your avatar and go to Account Settings
- Under Subscription, click Manage Subscription
- This opens the Lemon Squeezy customer portal where you can manage all billing details
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- Click your avatar and go to Account Settings
- Under Subscription, click Manage Subscription
- Click Cancel in the Lemon Squeezy portal
- Confirm cancellation
WARNING
When you cancel, your Pro or Team features remain active until the end of the current billing period. After that date, your account reverts to the Free plan. Your diagrams and data are never deleted -- you simply lose access to Pro/Team features.
You can also cancel directly from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal if you prefer.
- Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period
- After cancellation, diagrams are kept but Pro features become unavailable
- You can resubscribe at any time to restore all Pro features immediately
What Happens on Downgrade
When your Pro or Team subscription expires (after cancellation or failed payment), your account reverts to the Free plan. Here is exactly what changes:

TIP
Nothing is ever deleted. If you resubscribe later, all features are restored immediately -- including version history, private diagram settings, and workspace access.
Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Lemon Squeezy, a Merchant of Record. This means:
- Lemon Squeezy handles sales tax, VAT, and regional tax compliance automatically
- Payments are accepted via credit card, debit card, and PayPal
- Invoices and receipts are available in your Lemon Squeezy customer portal
- ERDHub never stores your payment details directly
TIP
If you need to update your payment method or download invoices, click Manage Subscription in Account Settings. This opens the Lemon Squeezy customer portal where you can manage all billing details.
